FlexControl Button Definition

Hello all, I just got my new Flex3000 yesterday. I was lucky enough to be able to pick it up at the factory on New Year's Eve day. I need to say a big thank you to Greg for making a special trip into the shop so I could pick it up while I was there visiting my daughter. Everything is working just great but I do have a question. Is there anyway to make the buttons on the FlexControl perform another function other than the pre-programmed ones in the drop down menus? I want to set up button 3 to mute the audio but can't figure out how. If not, is there a keyboard command to mute the volume? I am just looking for a quick way to mute the volume when the boss (Wife) wants to talk to me Thanks for any help and Happy New Year to all. Harold W5ZZT
