Possible Option of a Sami, OH2BFO, like Hotwheels mouse>vfo control request
Include a 'HotWheels' type function. I've been using Sami's little applet "Hotwheels" which give vfo access to the mouse wheel. As Mouse control is so fundemental in Flex Radio control, it seems a natural to include frequency up/down option to a already mouse intensive rig control system. It's especially useful to me in Dxing and Contesting. as always....'pse es tu'.

Bill, The scroll wheel on the mouse already controls the frequency. Is this what you are talking about, or are you refering to something else?0

the scroll wheel on MY mouse does NOT control the frequency. Which could conceivably be due to my use of Hotwheels stealing that ability???? Duh....something funny is going on here. I just tried it....and now it's working. But it didn't just prior to my writing this email. Nor in the past. I'm suspicious that it has something to do with HotWheels. And now I know what. toggeling the Scroll wheel enables/disables Hotwheels in PSDR. And now I also see that it does the same in SSDR. Duh and double Duh, just learned something. Thank you Robert, I may never have tried toggeling the Scroll Lock if you hadn't replied.0

No problem Bill, Glad I could help. One feature that the OH2BFO Hot Wheels application provides that is not inherent in the existing system is the ability to control the frequency when SmartSDR is not the most recently touched application. I use the FlexControl for this because I want to use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll a browser window when I touch the browser window.0
