Flex Control Knob stickiness/hitch

After owning it since August, my Flex Control Knob is starting to "grab" as I spin it. It sometimes sticks enough that my finger comes out of the tuning indentation. Is there some maintenance instructions that I need top follow? Cleaning, etc.? Or is it developing a problem? Anyone else have this stickiness develop?

Ken, Its possible that the knob itself is not horizontally square on the shaft of the encoder. Use a small hex wrench, loosen the set ****, make sure its horizontal and then re-tighten. No maintenance is required. I'm using one of the very first production units and its still going very strong after 3 years of heavy use! Stu K6TU
