Difference between "Regular" RX/TX lines and "Reserved" lines in DAX.

OK, perhaps, in my eagerness to play with my "new toy," I read the release information too quickly, but I seem to have missed the difference between the different types of lines that DAX sets up. I know about the regular and IQ lines, but what are "Reserved" lines?

Ken, The word we alpha testers got was that they were for internal testing only & not to use them. Hey, Merry Christmas! Been missing you on ITN in the mornings. 73, Ray, K9DUR0

Ken, I had the impression that RESERVED ports were always reserved for use by the radio end of the signal path and should not be used by your sound card program. They are necessary. If you attempt to use them, disable them or modify their properties, the RESERVED end of a DAX pair the results may be unpredictable. AL, K0VM DAX pair = RESERVED Audio RX1 (palyback) paired with Audio RX1 (recording)1
