Audio level drops when using DAX

Audio level drops when using DAX. Flex 6500, SDR 1.024, win 7, Intel Duo 2.33, 64 bit, 16 gig ram. When I have slice A set to use DAX and slice B to any other mode the audio level on both slices drops, it does not change received signal level, toggling slice A from DAX to another mode does the same to audio level, USB, LSB, etc. the audio level comes back up, switch back to DAX the audio level drops.

What I noticed was if in digi mode with DAX enabled and I disable the TX in the slice the audio comes up and when I enable the TX in the slice the goes down though there is no change in the signal level on the meter. I am only using a single slice at the moment with the 6700, iMAC with Parallels , win 7 Pro and assigned 4gb of ram to the vm.
