SmartSDR Beta v1.0.24 Issue

Installed SmartSDR Beta v1.0.24 today. During the FLEX operation, First problem was the Loss of Audio and all SmartSDR Panadapter controls to the FLEX 6500. I Was not able to change bands, or control/change any radio controls. There was No functions or other controls for the FLEX from the SmartSDR panel.The PanAdapter did not show any receive signals. The panadapter signal trace Basically appeared to have the Transmit and Receive status in the transmit stage. I Had to Reboot the FLEX and the Computer. After the reboot process completed, I was successful in restarting the SmartSDR program and the FLEX. This problem first appeared on the 10Meter band, After I rebooted, and changed bands it happened again on the 15 meter band. This only started after installing the new SmartSDR Beta version. Do I need to step back and reload SmartSDR 1.0.5??

    If you don't mind re-entering all your settings then I suggest. Power off the radio Remove DC power Connect DC power While holding (pressing) the OK button on the front panel Turn on the radio using the power switch This resets the radio to factory defaults and will likely cure your issue. Again, you will lose all audio and other persistent settings. Mack W4AX Alpha Tester

    Mack: Thanks. I will step back to SmartSDR v1.0.5. The new features shown with the new BETA VERSION was excellent. I will try to check my network connections when running the Beta version. If it is not my network router or PC then I will Resonfigure with your info you provided. Thanks Bill W4EY

    Reset the 6500 to factory specs. Reloaded SmartSDR Beta v1.0.24 and latest SmartCAT. DAX has been configured with HRD and DM780. Everything appears to be working correctly,.Minor glitch if working multiple panadapters. HRD DM780 waterfall drops the DAX receive connecton when the split Slice A and Slice B are running. Close the Slice B Split and HRD DM 780 waterfall will continue to work correctly. The FLEX is set up to use two seperate DAX lines for Split Slice A and B. If I change DM 780 to receive on the Slice B RX/TX DAX Audio Stream then the waterfall works correctly. This appears to be a HRD DM780 issue and not FLEX. The new SmartSDR and DAX are excellent with Windows 8.1. High Marks to FLEX.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor.
