DAX has encountered a problem . . . on install and startup

I have just installed SmartSDR Beta v10.024 and the corresponding SmartSDR CAT Version 1.2.2.0. I receive a Microsoft error message on DAX when I attempt to start up DAX. Details are attached. I received this same message during the installation of SmartSDR. Windows XP, SP3, DDUtil_V3. Version 1.0.5 was working properly with the corresponding CAT before this installation.

    Problem is repeatable. Re-booted the PC, waited, then observed the SmartSDR CAT in the task bar at the bottom. Both CAT and DAX Icons are in the tray on the bottom right. When I power up the 6700, DAX crashes.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
