I started using my 6500 with connecting a haedset via the front outlet ( or is it an inlet??). anyway I heard on the mon(itor) seting and saw on the display a noise guessing 100 hZ. Disconnecting the microphone connector did not chchange the noice. switching to "BAL" the noise was gone and the mike signal was great. As far as I can diagnose -professional problem?- the noise is generated somewhere after the "mic"-connector. Anyone know how to switch the noise 'Off"? BTW using the bal input at the back works just fine but had to insert a piece of wire from front to back because the earphone connecor could not reach the front,
