Hi Reggie, i'm successefully using iMAC with F6700 (Maverick+Parallels 9.0+Win7 64) and cable network. What is set up Netwotk adapter in Parallels - Bridge/Default/Other ? Have you acces to the other resources from Win7 (ex: Internet) ? In general on you Wi-Fi access point or you router you can see Ip adress of you F6500 (of course if DHCP started), what you can see with ping... command from the Win with adress of the F6500 ?

Hi Sergey! thanks for the response. Here are my details: network adapter is set to Bridge. I can ping the ip address of the 6500 successfully. the internet works fine. there are flex virtual comports 4-16, 5-15, set up in device manager but SSDR or CAT does not connect to them. there are no comports displayed in CAT.

Well Reggie, in case Flex visible into the network, CATSSDR will create pair com4-com14 automatically, user can create an additional if needed. In case this pair ar not crteated or you can't see you TRCVR into SSDR screen at startup, i think you have a issue in the you network - Wi-Fi point, Router etc., pls check IP adress of you MAC and Win - they are in one segment with TRCVR ? i guess they have different allocation with adresses.

Yes, you are correct. The flex is not visible to this macbook. I have another Macbook and it works in bootcamp as well as my mac-mini running bootcamp. But this macbook with parallels does not. I am not sure what to do now except go to bootcamp with this one as well. It must be on the network as I can ping it from all devices. thanks for your help

Regie, Changed the virtual network adapter in Parallels from a Shared Network to a Bridged Network, reboot Windows, and then it should find your 6700 just fine. I'm running Parallels 9 with a 2012 Mac Pro here, with Windows 8.1, and it works great. Keith - AE5XN

Keith right, in selected menu(properties of the virtual machine) necessary to choose Bridge Network instead Shared Network as i mentioned into first reply, below you can see it(screen on Russian but i guess understandable)

Reggie, Glad it's working now for you! I knew you'd get it going. So far, I've been very happy with the performance of SSDR 1.05 while running Parallels Desktop 9 with Windows 8.1 64-bit on my 2012 Mac Pro 12-core 2.4GHz. Keith - AE5XN
