Is it possible to make the level on the Line-outputs on the 15-pin acc.-connector independent of the speaker volume control at the 6700 ? I would also like to have a SQUELCH possibility on it. pa0bie

This is really needed for digital modes. As well as being able to select ACCY line in AND MIC input at the same time. Otherwise you will be able to tell all the 6000 contesters during an SSB contest....they will be the ones all with sore throats. Greg

It is not possible to make the audio output on the ACC connector independent from the speaker volume (gain) as they share the same output on the codec.

What about MIC+Line (ACCY) for playing recorded messages and having the front panel mic in use at the same time?

That is unfortunate. Many modern rigs have a steady line level audio out independent from the other volume controls that allows sending unmodified audio out to various external sources -- digital decoders, packet controllers, external audio amps, remote audio feeds, etc. I would suggest that this be considered for the next hardware revision, if there ever is one.... The same goes for the ability to have BOTH front panel or Bal mike inputs as well as an AUX/ACC line level input active at the same time, perhaps even with separate PTT lines, one that is PTT for the AUX/ACC input which mutes the front/Bal live mike input so that it is not "hot" when playing external audio.... and the other PTT that connects the front panel/Bal inputs to the transmitter, (and possibly mutes the AUX/ACC.)

As I am using a home made special designed audio routing and mixing system , including automation off PTT It would help if there was a possibility as Ken NM9P suggest on linking the several PTT's to the sound inputs.
