Antenna switching problem on 6500 beta 1.05

I am running a 6500 with sofware Beta 1.05. The problem is ... I open pan1 with ANT1 and slice1 ...when I open a second pan adaptor on a different band for whatever mode with antenna RXA selected pan 1 antenna changes to RXA. If I go to pan1 and change the antenna back to ANT1 then the antenna in the second pan changes to ANT1. One would think that the antenna (particularly Receive Antennas) should not change unless the operator specifically goes to the pan it is active for and changes it. If the antenna selection does not work this way it makes it possible to transmit accidentally into a receive only antenna thus ruining an expensive antenna. Thanks.... Steve (N1SG)

This is not a bug. The FLEX-6500 has only one SCU (wideband ADC). All panadapters and all slices use the same RX antenna port because they are all using the same SCU. You can't use multiple RX antennas on different panadapters and/or slices with the FLEX-6500. So when you change one, it changes them all. On the FLEX-6700 with two (2) SCUs, you can have two different slices on separate RX antennas. If the expensive RX antenna is only connected to RXA, then there is no way to transmit into it, damaging the RX only antenna. You can split RX and TX among two antennas with the FLEX-65000
