I agree! Just had a very pleasant CW SS run. The thing I noticed about using the 6500 for an extended time in headsets is that I didn't get aural fatigue. Nice! The update helped a lot this weekend, since it markedly improved the responsiveness of the FlexControl knob. Bravo! The radio still "scans" when tuning the knob past the edges of the panadapter, though, which was a little annoying. I don't think I want to go back to a conventional radio for contesting! The panadapters and slices are huge! And the filtering... Wow, just wow. Now if Delaware had been around to complete my sweep, everything would have been even better. Can we add Delaware to the Road Map? ;-)
