Compression control Jumps around after adjustment...

On the new beta 1.05, when I adjust the compression control, if I don't wait about 5 seconds before transmitting, the control will bounce around every time I hit TX. I can get it to bounce three or four times if I hit the footswitch several times. If I wait 4-6 seconds after adjusting it, it works fine, though I am not sure if the compression is taking full effect, because the power meter doesn't seem to be reaching the same levels it did on v. 1.0.
