Best digi mode settings?

JT and PSK operators: What are your "best practices" for improving signal to noise ratios for weak JT-mode signals using your Flex 6000? My local noise is a limiting factor (my house has been scrubbed; can't do much about the neighbors!) so I wonder how my learned colleagues have learned to dig deep into the noise? I'm doing pretty well, but know there's room to tweak. What AGC-T, filtering, levels, etc., have you found work best? Especially on 160m? I'm sure I get out better than I hear sometimes.

George, I recommend you use the AGC-T and the AF Gain controls to mitigate the noise. Adjust the AGC-T to lower values and make up the loss of audio gain by increasing the AF Output gain (either the master or the slice) You can use the smallest filters on RX to limit the noise too. Right now the dynamic range of the sound card is also going to be a limiting factor until we can get DAX implemented to provide "bit perfect" audio transfer from the radio to the digital mode program.0

Thanks, Tim. Matching my experience so far. Wish there was a quick way to read S/N to get tweaked in.0
