Received new FLEX 6700 on 10/11/13 -- Installed it today -- works OK for maybe up to ten minutes before I receive the error message, "PSL1VOC-0.92 -- Shutting Down" -- Radio starts making a "thumping" repeating noise which will not stop until I shut down the power supply!! Happens every time after I restart the radio, which also takes longer than normal after this error message. Software release date was 10/01/13 --- Any suggestions -- radio is basically useless & undependable ---

What is your power supply voltage? It needs to be 13.8 VDC.

Has been reported before annd resolved - see: http://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/flex_6700_shuts_down_and_gives_power_supply_error_message and some helpdesk resolutions suggest RFI in the shack can also cause the problem. 73 Steve K9ZW

I had the problem and checked my regulation on my power supply and found that the voltage regulation was not good enough for the 6500 and it would trip into the above mentioned error. I changed power supplies and have not had it again. (Prior I got it on a daily basis)
