On adjusting the high cut/low cut say to 50/3250 it will work . now turn off the radio turn it on and the transmit filter bandwidth will display 50/3250. However the transmit bandwidth is not correct . it is not 50/3250 as displayed it is necessary to highlight the low cut/high cut enter a different transmit filter setting and it will then go to this setting. Yes it will then display this new setting . However the same thing will happen again when you turn it off . When you turn it back on it will display what you set last but this again is not correct . And necessitate you to re enter another filter band width to have it work at that band width. .

About, adjusting the band width transmit filter Ed is right. I worked on this with Ed and i came up with a temporally fix of changing, when starting software back up and radio the filter will default to wherever and it takes all of the base out of the filter and, at 50/4050 there should be plenty of base which there is when you change to a different setting and then go back. Please look into this, because there is a problem and once you shut the radio off you are back in the same boat. Have to go thru this process again no matter what the software says, it will save the settings in the software but not in the hardware of the radio. Please look into this. Yours truly, Ed Armstrong WB2K

This is a defect in the software. It has been addressed in the next release of SmartSDR for Windows (> 1.0.0).
