USB ports on radio

Are there any future plans for the USB ports on the radio? Should the manuals designate that the USB ports are for future use rather than lead the reader in circles? From the hardware manual v 1.0.1: The USB 2.0 ports are used to control peripheral devices that are connected to the radio. Refer to the SmartSDR documentation for information about how these work. From the SmartSDR Documentation v 1.0.1: (Not relevant content) From the release notes v 1.0.0: When using a FlexControl with SmartSDR, plug the FlexControl into the PC running SmartSDR for Windows and not the USB port on the radio.

    Yes, there are plans for using the USB interface on the radio hardware for future radio control point peripheral interfaces.

    Would it ever be possible to use the USB port on the 6000 to plug in a USB Bluetooth dongle for full duplex stereo receive and mic input?   There are a lot of quality Bluetooth stereo headsets with microphones that have been designed for cellphones and computer gaming.  It would be great to be able to use these lightweight wireless devices with the Flex 6000 series radios directly.  Having to plug in a wall wart, a bunch of wires and an external Bluetooth transceiver isn't really a very clean option.  I'm currently using a Jabra GN9350 wirless headset.  While it works well, it isn't stereo, its a bit bulky and I am currently using it via the USB port on my computer via DAX to the rig which introduces quite a bit of latency.  A direct connect Bluetooth device would be GREAT.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
