Yeah, when 1.0 hits, all **** breaks loose and a frenzy of posts start without reading the "fine print" in the release notes... :-( "mea culpa" myself.

I hope that After 1.0 comes out they update the web site. Much of it hasn't been updated in over 5 years such as hamfest pictures, QSO Party, Awards and accomplishments etc. I am sure they are painfully aware of this and are probably updating the web site as I type this message.

I'm not holding my breath this evening, and will patiently wait. The interim manual pdf is more of a chore, worse than the coding , I would think. I

I contacted Italy and Madeira Island today at lunch on 17 meters. It seems so easy to break pileups with 100 watts, and I am getting a lot of compliments on my audio.

Gotta give them credit. Even though the software needs some polish, this is the best rig I've owned or used in 36 years as a ham. Beats most commercial gear I have used, too.

The only pin I want to hear is the one that starts with a 1...

I'm drooling over the antenna matrixing finally being implemented, and waiting to get the Tx switching ports right :-)

Listening for pin drops: Well I connected the Bock 251 MIC to the API 3124+ MIC preamp and cranked the MIC gain up to +65dB. Listening on the Beyerdynamic T1 headphones I don't hear any pin drops. The QRN is high at this QTH this afternoon. The sound of gophers munching on grubs in the roots of the Bermuda grass in the front yard is deafening. Still waiting on that pin drop....
