Version 0.16.4 despite not working

V 0.16.4 windows 7 32 bit. No anf what so ever. Moved slider will not cancel a carrier. The NR is working but questionable as to how good. The nb appears to work, it seems like you have to turn it on and let it learn the noise, that is the best way to say it as it seems to get better on line noise as you leave it on. Dsp product are still a long way from power sdr. Any suggestions, it concerns me with these fixes of powering off multiple times to final get it to work. I have gone through the development of the flex 1000 and the other radios but we must realize new owners will not live with this rebooting a radio two to three times to get it to work properly.

Dale, The ANF works here. I don't use it since I'm CW only but when I tested it on a carrier it totally eliminates it. (tested in CW mode) Agree on the NR, it is working but I'd like to know more about it and posted this question: http://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/noise_reduction_working_0_16_4 On one of my other radios the NR control allow the user to select 1 of 12 different algorithms. Each has different affects on different types of noise. I've heard they work ok on SSB but they don't work well on CW. Or a related note, I'm still in favor of also adding some audio frequency peaking to help pull weak DX out of the noise but that is another topic. Regards, Al / NN4ZZ0

I have not tried rebooting the radio but twice time. I did a radio reboot and then a radio with no power. Still no anf. Now I am trying to notch out a carrier such as a station tuning up. I went to power sdr on my 3000 and it worked as it should. Did the anf work the first time with no rebooting? I would like to hear from others if theirs worked.0

It should be noted that ANF works in USB but not LSB or DIGI modes in this version (0.16 ) of SSDR. Should be resolved in next version.. AL, K0VM1
