TX Relay settings

If I understand it correctly, each of the tx relay lines are adjustable on the settings transmit tab. Entering 10ms for TX1 causes the TX1 keyline to delay 10ms. There is also one transmit delay field. What is the relationship between this setting and those for the key lines? It seems that the TX delay should be set higher than any of the three TX relay lines, correct? Thanks Greg AB7R

Correct, with PowerSDR we had independent, timed, sequencing and with SmartSDR .15.3 there is pseudo sequencing from from RX-to-TX, but the reverse transition is missing. TX delay must be set to = or > the largest timing for any of the three ports used unless you have an outboard sequencer/transceiver/amp with a "key enable" output that you can use with the TX REQ jack on the rear panel., or, if using fast relays outboard, like sped up vacuum relays or opto-keyed switching FET's using the TX ports. This must all be copasetic with the antenna matrix switching and Vox/PTT/QSK situation too! (Disclaimer, I do NOT use QSK) For just simply keying a single amp with mechanical relays, I would not bother with any delay on the TX ports. Just set the TX Delay in the radio setup screen to the sum of the"make/settling" time + the time it takes the 6xxx to stop making rf...maybe another 5-10ms until the software evolves. We do not know yet officially know what the transition times are for switching. Days of planning/design and few hours(?) of coding.0

The logic for this has been changed as of v1.0. Each of the TX1, 2, 3 timings are independent and start from a depress of the microphone, keying of a cw paddle, etc. RF can come out as soon as the largest of TX1, 2, 3, ACC_TX have elapsed if TX_Delay is set to zero. Otherwise TX_Delay is added to the maximum of TX1, 2, 3, ACC_TX1
