Thanks for the opportunity to participate in the Preview Program. My 6500 arrived yesterday and I have been completely captivated by the hardware/firmware and SmartSDR performance, despite the Preview status. The aggregate performance is really hard for me to grasp. I am new to SDR and have never been able to hear as well as I have for the last 24 hours; this rig has ears. The CW performance is so awesome that I will be brushing up on my copy and sending so I can use this wonderful tool. For the SDR uninitiated like me, this system pulls signals out like nothing I've ever encountered. All this and more features to come. Finally, bringing the system online was a snap (I read all of the literature twice), and the few questions I formulated were easily answered here in the Community with a quick search. I've been a big fan of Gerald since his 2001 SDR articles in QEX. I feel fortunate to get to participate with his company/team and mature this new product. Gratefully es 73, Brad -N6SPM
