Tuning knob not functioning on Flex 6500

I just received the FlexControl tuning knob for use with the 6500. The computer detected it, installed it and said it was ready for operation. I turn the knob and nothing happens. The mouse wheel still does change frequency. I have demo 5000 software in the computer too and the knob works with it. Is there something I need to do for the 6500 to work with the knob?

    If PowerSDR is running before SmartSDR is started, the FlexControl will not connect to SmartSDR.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
