Fused power connection

With the cable supplied there is no fuses. Is there internal fuses? If not what should the power lead be fused at.

    As I kunderstand it, the 6K is fused internally.. Whether You wish to include an external fuse may depend on you power source and distribution system.. If your running from something like a battery or a power supply that does not include internal current limiting, then you want a fuse at the source.. If your using a recent vintage power supply, that can survive a shorted load,, then a fuse may be unnecessary. AL, K0VM

    There is a 30A internal fuse for the entire radio and another 3/5A fuse for the receiver-exciter board. With PowerPoles most people are using a distribution box that fuses each radio at the distribution point. You may, of course, place a fuse in-line with the power cable as well. Steve

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
