I have a large collection (7)  of hand mics from various manufactures but can't find the 8 pin hand mic that came with my Flex 6500.

I want to have the option of using a hand mic with my Maestro. I am presently using two different headsets both made by Heil.

Are any of my mics possibly compatible with the Flex FHM-2 ?

I'm just looking for a list of compatible mics .

I'm trying not to buy another mic.

I tried the mic from my Yaesu 8800 and it locked the Maestro into transmit.

I don't own a maestro but I think you need to use this adapter with an 8 pin yaesu wired mic.

I purchased the cable from Flex but it has only 4 wires in the RJ-45 connector.

Tony, does yours have 8 wires? Mine has only 4 in the RJ45 side.
