Watching my SSB signal on another pan/slice

Has anyone else noticed this apparent improvement? In the previous version I could open another pan and a slice in it, zoom in to max and watch my transmitted SSB signal on a makeshift spectrum display. It was, however, very high on the display and I had to slide the display down or drastically expand the vertical scale to see much of it. It seems as though the latest version - .16.4.xx - that this function is much better behaved and I don't need to zoom out the vertical scale to visualize my speech pattern. Was this a change? or a side effect of another change? Or am I imagining it? In any case, I find it helpful when adjusting my TX EQ. I know the pattern of my voice and if it looks right, I am pretty sure it sounds right. I also noticed that hitting the + / - zoom button on the bottom left zooms the center of the screen. I didn't remember it being as well behaved in previous versions. But then I used to just grab and drag in order to zoom.

IMHO, we should be able to monitor TX demod audio in a separate panadapter, not just after the audio codecs/processing into the PA...of course with separate antennas and attenuators if needed. Then you can hear or see with software on a another PC with the audio ported over. This may happen if the antenna matrixing situation comes to fruition. There will be a "delay", but with RTA graphics not an issue with me.

Now that I have figured out how to "****" my Flex-1500 to the 6500 I can also monitor my signal in it, (with a lot of latency.) But I have found the 2nd panadapter visual monitoring to be helpful on my 6500. It will be nice, someday, to actually be able to listen to myself in the 2nd pan/slice. I hope this is in the works.

I think it's already built in for test purposes, but not ported out for use thru a monitor function. Monitoring my audio going in pre-PA should be there now with "monitor", hearing and seeing what gets transmitted is an other issue to come to fruition. I mean post PA in another panadapter with a disparate antenna.
