Hello,

it seems the new Microsoft development enviroment will give the opportunity to "build native mobile and Mac apps in C#". (https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/visual-studio-mac/)
I am wondering if this great tool will open the way for the development of a Mac SSDR version and if Flex designers are going to give it a try.

Xamarin... there's really more smoke and mirrors there than actual light or heat. You can't actually write a c# program for MACOS on Windows using Visual Studio. You have to do it on a Mac.

Could the code be shared? Yes, much of it. But it's not nearly as slick as it sounds.
