Some spots do not disappear after N1MM+ timeout

Today I tried to use the Flex Spots option in my 6500 with SmartSDR v2.4.9 for the RTYY WPX contest. They populate from N1MM+ correctly but after the timeout period specified in N1MM+ (10 minutes in my case) some spots do not disappear from the panadapter. Even if I choose to "remove all spots" from the N1MM+ bandmap, they all vanish from the bandmap but SOME still are retained on the panadapter. This results in long gone spots being shown on the panadapter as well as duplicate spots for stations that have changed frequency. Anybody else have this?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
