Losing DSP settings when changing modes for automatic CW IDer

I'm using a Flex 6300 with the SmartSDR 1.6.21 software. I'm trying to use the Romac IDer program. An example of my problem would be operating on 40 meters LSB in a QSO. When it's time to ID the Romac ID program switches the radio into the CW mode to send out my station identification in CW. When it's finished it switches the radio back to the LSB mode. The problem is the radio isen't saving any of the DSP settings. After every time the program sends out the ID, the radio can't remember the DSP settings when switched back to the LSB mode. In fact if you are set up in the LSB mode and switch to any other mode, and then switch back to the LSB mode, the radio can't remember the DSP settings. I would think that the radio should be able to remember the latest settings used in each mode, at least until the radio is turned off. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
