    Bit concerned that the website now says, 'Shipping first quarter 2016'. It looks like it will have to be a late Christmas present?

    Yea,  I wish they would just make it official that those of us who have been on the paid waiting list for months are not going to get it before Christmas.  (As promised)   To confusing.  To many stories going around.  I would just love to hear from Flex in the form of an official announcement.  I'm sure they have all of the "paid to stand in line" email address.  It would be nice to just get an email with the truth.  To many rumors..

    I asked - Matt replied close to beginning delivery but no likely in Dec - production ramping up ... so unless he got something wrong ... no rumour!

    No matter when they begin shipping Maestro, I'm so far back in line They will be shipping 1st quarter 2016 units before UPS drops mine off. Anyone feel like canceling themselves out of the line? No? didn't really think so. image

    It will get used when it get's here. Waiting for it, was part of the deal.

    Would you rather get it fast or would you rather get it right? I have seen it up close, you won't be disappointed. It is totally worth waiting for and do you think if I did not think so I would hold my tongue?

    FRS is pushing the state-of-the-art so obviously delays can and will occur.  I'm sure they'll start shipping as soon as the can.

    I would like it on time (not fast) and right. That's the deal I signed up for.

    I hope they get it right - the flimsy VFO knobs I played with at Dayton were not "right". Anyone who played with a later prototype, say like at Boxboro, care to comment?

    I just noticed I had a new Flexinsider.
    I removed my previous request for linkage.
    Slow/Late starts are sometimes full of surprises.
    For me at least. Eventually reality kicks in.image

    I guess you are correct Steven. They're talking February but I think June is more realistic.

    Simon

    I drink coffee as long as there is coffee, When the coffee runs out I make more.
    I don't really know what life would be like without coffee, I'm really too scared to try and find out. If it wasn't for the constant jitters, I might not get any exercise at all.
    Where would I get the energy for exercise? Brewing coffee helps me stay busy.
    Exhaustion, helps me sleep until it's time to make more.

    Speaking of which! ...

    I had previous registered to receive the Insider too but wasn't receiving it.  Today I re-registered and the latest version of Insider was in my Inbox within a minute or so.  I'm not sure what's going on but you might want to register again and see what happens.

    @Simon
    The poem is a pretty accurate portrayal of my daily activities.
    The only difference is the "Everyone shut up!" line.
    I'm retired, so most days there is no one around to yell at.

    @Steven
    I think I'm doing ok. The meds are a very important low-calorie snack.
    My "or something" list of things I need, is too long to go into.
    I keep it filed away in a file cabinet under "thing's I'm not expecting to get".
