Increased noise with 1.2.1

With the previous version of SmartSDR my 6500 was the quietest radio I have ever owned.  When I updated to 1.2.1 it became much noisier than before.  I have read where the width on the bandscope has an effect, and it does, but I still am unable to get rid of, or even significantly reduce the noise.  It does not seem to relate to where the noise floor is on any given day.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I am sure I missing something obvious.

Try adjusting the AGC threshold slider as described page 35 of the software manual.  I think you will find it to be quite effective in reducing noise.

Make sure you have any unused but open slice receivers muted.  I have had this happen to me when I had some open slices that were unmuted and didn't realize it.

Guys, Thank You very much.  The AGC slider was the issue and I had totally missed it.  Thanks again!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
