Google Home and Chromecast Devices Causing Wi-Fi Outages

I wanted to share this with everyone who maybe having issues with a Wifi connection and who are also using Google Home or Chromecast impacting your WiFi in a serious way.

there have been many instances that show that the Google Home Max, as well as other Cast-enabled devices, appear to be borking the Wi-Fi connections of some users.

This is supposed to help deal with the proliferation of devices on WiFi networks:

I believe several 802.11ax routers were announced at CES this year.  Something to keep in mind for those who need to upgrade their WiFi routers.

Personally, I think I'll stick with my 802.11ac router until mesh versions of the 802.11ax routers are available because my house is oriented such that there are dead spots.
