    Why is it that all the 30,000 Italians come on at the same time, on the same frequency, have their radios in the bathroom and have HUGE over-driven amplifiers?

    I hate to be a pessimist, but the Japanese amateurs cited are based on an IARU report from 2000! The MIC publishes data showing that there were only 446,602 licensed stations as of October 2011 (perhaps this is a case of comparing apples and oranges - license holders vs. station licenses, but it does not bode well).

    The numbers are off for the US also, since 2000 our numbers have risen to 726,275 (but how many of them are "first responders" that got a little salary bump, and couldn't care less for the hobby is anyone's guess).

    My guess is, that this list is from the same IARU report that is 15 years old. That's a billion years old in statistical-age equivalence.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
