I have a 40m-6m Hex Beam and was wondering on how practical it would be to do SO2R. If I used the Flex 6600, could I call CQ on 20 and look for multipliers on 20 simultaneously with the same antenna without blowing myself out ? Or would I have to be on a differnt band with a bandpass filter? Basically, would the second receiver be blown out from receiving the cq from the transmitter when on the same band with the same antenna, or is there some filtering to prevent this? Thank you

SO2R requires two antennas for exactly the reason you mention.  A multiband hexbeam is still a single antenna.

Same band no. Different bands is doable with triplexer. I saw this at a field day site once and it was amazing.
