Lost band controls after upgrade to 4.2.2

After upgrading my 6300’s, I am no longer able to make band selections to all bands or pull up a menu to manually enter frequency when using the SmartSDR (v 7.0.131) app on my iPhone. When I pull up the band menu, it does not allow me to select 160 or 10. When I remotely access the same radio using a VNC connected computer, SmartSDR works perfectly. Also, when I select, in Settings, to contact Marcus, it only places me back into the Settings menu again with no contact form or email link. Is this due to my using the free 4.2.2 upgrade and not paying for a new license to go from v2? Ir are there some bugs still to tackle?

Hmmm… have you tried exporting your profiles then doing a factory reset of the radio? Because of the changes imbedded in the 4.2 series (especially it coming from an 'older' version), a factory reset was highly recommended. Once completed, then you can import your profiles.

I understand it works perfectly when running remote via the VPN, so it's probably not the radio, but it may be worth a try.

    See if that helps.

There is not fee or license to buy to upgrade your radio from V1,V2 or V3 to Version 4 SmartSDR basic ( which includes everything you had in V2 ). There is a fee if you wish to access to the Additional V4 features.

I can't comment on SSDR for ios.

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
