AetherSDR new noise reduction settings

Options

I have been playing around with AetherSDR. I see people posting about the AI driven noise reduction and have watched a few YouTube videos on it. However, I don't have those NR options on my AetherSDR software on windows. I see NR2, NR4 and other options on the DSP tab on the youtube videos but I don't have those options. Do these new noise reduction settings require a 8000 series or Aurora series radio? I do have SSDR+ but am using a Flex-6700.

I do have this window but when I chick on any of the filters, nothing happens. No change to the audio.

You have to use the Computer Speakers and NOT the Radio speakers because these filters are built into the Software and not the Radio's firmware like the other DSP filters.

Bret, thank you! That was it. It's working when I use the PC speaker.

this is the same with the AetherSDR "AetherVoice" settings, in which you have to use the PC MIC to get all the great MIC mapping.

For me the biggest issue I think is having to use the PC MIC and the MOX or Some kind of serial port MOX PTT setup to Transmit.

I can live with the PC Speakers DSP but I have always frowned on the use of the PC MIC for lack of quality and Latency.

    Hello all,

thanks indeed for your type Bret, indeed I felt me very **** about it. Now sound through my USB Audio Device is very nice.

However, I face a new problem, I can not hear my CW transmission when PC Audio is on. I seems that I have to use a MIDI device to operate CW correctly, and in fact I have a Halikey MIDI but I am not seeing how can I configure it properly, any help will be welcome here.

    Best 73 all.

These additional NR settings are very exciting for me, living in built environment here in AU. Has anyone tried the GPU based BNR? I don’t have the hardware to test this, RTX 3000++.

It is amazing, maybe outperforming the ASDR DSP NR (I think that depends on your noise environment).

I do not have too much noise so for a demonstration of potential effectiveness check out https://www.facebook.com/39703062/videos/3489400191206958/ where you can hear it being switched in and out. The vid should play even if you are not F/Book registered.
