AURORA 520m and maestro C connecting remotely

I am brand new to FLEX so I am in a learning curve. I have the 520M operating on my home wifi lan, and have been successful finally having the Maestro C to connect to it wirelessly within the house. I do not know how to successfully get connected once I leave the house and go to another source of internet or hotspot. How do I do this? Is there a configuration model I am missing? Any help or pointer to documentation would be greatly appreciated. Haven't had a chance to talk to any FLEX users here locally.

You need to set up a SmartLink account, then use SmartLink to make the connection to your radio.
Here is a link to the User Guide.
Look in section 9 for a complete description of SmartLink and how to use it. If you still have questions, be sure to post back here.
EDIT: Wherever Flex 6000 radios are referenced, you can substitute Flex 8000 or Flex Aurora radios.

i am wired remotely and BOTH my maestro B and C regularly update the software; i usually leave my 520M on all of the time them once you have downloaded the newest update shouldnt be a problem hooking up your maestro; i have not tried wifi but should be the same usually they say a wired connection is better; it has worked the same way with my 6600M and 8600M
