Sound Win10 SmartSDR 4.1.5

Hi all

I let a friend use my radio, and when I came back, there was no sound anymore. He must have destroyed my config ! I have tried to search about config but could not find anything complete enough.

As indicated in the title, I am using Win10 and version 4.1.5

The DAX is OK, JTDX works fine, but SSB and CW have no sound on the computer speakers.

How should I configure sounds so I get it on the speakers ? On SmartSDR, AND on Win10 ?

Thanks + 73

I presume you have tried the obvious. But just in case, you would think this would take nothing more than enabling PC Audio (top, right) in SSDR and then resetting audio in Windows 10 and ensuring that the end point (your speakers) are correctly selected. But I guess you've done this?

    Hi Erik

Problem solved, finally… So many buttons or sliders involved…

The culprit was the slider in the RX subpanel, on the right of of "slow/med/fast/off" button.

    I can hear again !

Hi Paul, check out the YouTube videos from Mike, VA3MW and Tim, W4TME about setting the AGC-T control if you haven't seen them yet. It makes a huge difference in the noise level.
