SSDR for Mac V2.9.126 not saving settings

Using 6600M. For some reason while using FT8 the TX settings is not saving for me. I open the TX setting table and reset all the power settings to max (100) then in File > Profiles I save the TX settings and when I adjust the RF Power output each time FT8 transmits the power drops to 40 watts. Thoughts?

    [SOLVED]

Well, I powered down everything last night. This morning powered up tested to save to profile and it worked. So weird.

Spoke too soon. Here are the steps I am using to save Tx Band Settings:
    1. Open FT8 Mode and turn on Rx which creates Slice A in the Panadapter.
    2. In the Radio drop-down menu, select Profiles > macOS_FT8 which opens the modal then select USE button at the top.
    3. In the Radio drop-down menu, select Tx Band Settings which opens the modal. Make adjustments for each band and check any of the other settings needed.
    4. Go back to the Profiles modal, select macOS_FT8 then select SAVE button at the top.
    5. Then select macOS_FT8 again then select USE button.

Expected result: All the manual settings are saved and available.
Actual result: Reverts to default settings.

    Please advise

Another update: If I make the settings adjustments on the 6600M directly to the Profile I'm using in SSDR for Mac they show up in the application and stay. But, if I make any changes within the application after saving the new settings will not stay.

    Hi Bruce,

I have had similar problems with all the SmartSDR for Mac software releases I have had so far since the 2024. Work around for me has been to manually make all profile changes and save them rights from the radio screen (8600M).

Also backup configuration option has never worked for me, at least it wont save any of my profiles. So after every firmware update & factory reset I need to make the profiles again from the scratch. Not huge problem, but annoying process.

    SmartSDR for Mac Manual says:

"7.2.1.1. Backup / Restore Configuration and Memories

Using the corresponding buttons, you can Backup or Restore the whole configuration of your Radio or only Memories. The whole configuration includes all settings, Memories, Macros and Profiles of your Radio."

    Take care,

Thanks a bunch, Henkka. Seems like a bug that needs fixing.
