Flex System Band Data Propagation

I understand that with FLex equipment Band data and PTT is lan propagated. But when using a Yaesu101 or Xiegu G90 how is band data and BCD propagated?

If band data and PTT is sent to the Antenna Genius first ; does PTT and Band Data propagate via LAN to TGXL and PGXL?

I am asking this as on the B port we have a Yaesu FTDX101. But prior to the Antenna Genius SO2R there is a Relay that allows the Xiegu G90 to use the Antennas for FT8 . There is a switch that powers on the Xiegu and depowers the FTDX so there can be no conflict.

The Yaesu FTDX sends band data to tTGXL through RS232 and Band Data to the PGXL through BCD (15 Pin)

When I purchased the Antenna Genius, I purchased a BCD Splitter so that the BCD data from the Yaesu FTDX 101 also propagates to the Antenna Genius

Can someone tell me what is redundant?
Is it possible to send BCD and PTT to one device AG/TGXL/PGXL and have it propagate to other devices through LAN?

When we are using the Xiegu G90 for FT8 it is desired that the BCD data switch from the FTDX101 to the Xiegu G90 ( the G90 uses a voltage /icom protocol for Band Data but there is a voltage (Xiegu) to 8 bit BCD converter (Flex)) . This way when the button is pressed to turn off the Yaesu and Turn on the Xiegu G90 it will also (via 8 pole relay) take band data from the Xiegu G90 to feed the Antenna Genius.

It would be helpful to understand how, and best means and methods to propagate Band and PTT data for non-Flex equipment in a Flex Ecosystem.

    For FTdx101D,

PTT to AG → TG → PG

CAT from RS232 of Yaesu with null modem to PG XL.

BCD from Yaesu AMP connector to AG.

In PG device configuration set to Yaesu 3 and match RS232 baud settings

In TG set device configuration to Yaesu 2 and match RS232 settings of radio. Also under Genius Configuration tab, enable PG XL and set to s/n of PG XL. Set BIND to port of Yaesu, not BOTH. Enable AG and set to s/n of AG.

In AG make sure Flex is not enabled for Yaesu port. It will fall back to BCD.

Your diagram is incorrect. CAT to PG XL only. frequency info will be sent via LAN from PG XL to TG XL.

BCD to AG only. You do not need BCD to amp as amp will get band, frequency and mode info from the RS232 from radio.

    Last, use following firmware

    PG XL 3.8.9

    TG XL 1.2.17

    AG 4.1.16
