Flex 1500 New install Win11 laptop - Zero Beat button greyed out?

Many thanks for allowing me to join the group.
I've had my 1500 from new for many years now.
After a fresh install into my new Windows 11 laptop, all appears OK, except that in CW mode my 0-Beat button is greyed out. The radio receives and transmits fine and all other buttons seem to be there. I've done a fresh install again after uninstalling everything and deleting all associated files. Stiil the same, even with the basic install of 2.8.302. Upgrading to 326 made no difference.
Any ideas please? Thanks in advance. 73 Mick G3SDX

Many thanks Tom for the link.
Yesterday I emailed Darrin KE9NS directly and explained the situation.

Just to let the flex community know that I've solved it.
After so many Google searches I've lost count, an AI suggestion informed me that Averaging has to be on.
Something that I always use, but I hadn't enabled it with the new installs on the laptop.
As soon as AvgB is set up pops the 0-Beat button.

Thank you Tom for responding too.
