Any experience running SmartSDR on the new Microsoft Surface w/Snapdragon processor?

I am running SmartSDR/SmartLINK on an older Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which uses an Intel i5-6300U processor. I am considering moving to the current model but although they run Windows 11, they use the Qualcom Snapdragon processor. Per Microsoft's website, not all applications will run with the snapdragon processor.

Is anyone running SmartSDR / SmartLINK with the new Microsoft Surface?

I understand that FlexRadio doesn’t support CAT, and DAX isn’t compatible with Snapdragon processors. I had been considering upgrading my Surface Pro to a Snapdragon model, but the feedback hasn’t been great. I’m now leaning toward the business edition of the Surface Pro with the Intel Ultra processor. If a Surface Go with Snapdragon becomes available, I might still pick one up for light-duty tasks.

CAT and DAX will not run on an ARM processor, which the Snapdragon X is.

Thanks for all of the responses. I am now looking at the last gen Surface Pro that runs in Win 11 :-)

LOL … Nope, no iPad for me.

The Surface Pro is a multipurpose computer and all my software and apps are in the Microsoft ecosphere.

I have a surface pro 11 with snapdragon, an used for a month while traveling in Europe last fall. Smartssr 4.1.... every to.e I opened it, I received the. Message that flex vsr driver not found. I ignores that and wormed re.ote on ssb and cw using the pro 11 and smart SDR. Last week, again traveling, I tried to load CAT. After hours of resetting all aspects of the software did I discover that there are not drivers for Snapdragon.

BUT, 4.1.5 works fine on ssb and cw but no CAT is available to connect to Ham radio delixe

This is the reason why I kept my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (now running just fine in Windows 11). I don't want the new Snapdragon based devices as many specialized software packages like SmartSDR don't support it. In this case, it's the CAT and DAX drivers which are the issue.

I have other specialized software packages/tools that will NOT work in the ARM architecture. When Microsoft pushed users to the new architecture is when they lost me.
