SmartSDR requires two special fonts: Didact Gothic Font and Napoli Serial Extra Light Font. Your symptoms suggest that it is likely those fonts, for whatever reason, are missing. They can be downloaded from the following link:

    https://www.flexradio.com/software/?_search_archive=smartsdr%20fonts

Scroll down the list on this page and you will find them...

    @lppolito

I have that same "chopped-off" frequency whenever I run Remote Desktop. It's very hard to read.

That is, I have SmartSDR running on a (Windows 10 Pro) shack PC, and I connect via RDP either from my shack Linux box, or from offsite with another Windows 10 Pro machine.

So, every RDP client displays these "chopped-off" frequencies as your picture shows. This "chopped-off" occurs on both the Flag, and also in the Panel.

    Flag:

I never experience this if I am directly using the PC running SmartSDR (locally, or remote).

Flex 6400 & SmartSDR 4.1.5 - I now have that problem even after I installed the two fonts I downl;oaded from Flex Radio. I installed (and reinstalled both fonts, rebooted the computer seevral times, restarted SmartSDR 4.1.5 every time, but the fonts are still cut as ahown above.

This is a NEW problem as it all was fine 2 weeks ago. Now I have this issue and I cannot get it to use the proper fonts

I had a similar issue with the frequency numbers in the pan adapter bar cut off. I put a snip picture in ChatGPT and it said I had the text size too large in the accessibility setting in the display settings.

Correct Fix (Recommended): Use Display Scaling — NOT Text Size

FlexRadio designed SmartSDR to work with Display Scale, not the Accessibility “Text size” slider.

    Do this:

    1. Right-click desktop → Display settings
    2. Under Scale & layout
    3. Set Scale to one of these:
      • 125% ✅ Best balance
      • 150% ✅ Works on most systems
    4. Leave Accessibility → Text size at 100%

Do NOT increase Text Size separately.
That’s what causes the frequency numbers to cut off.

Tim, same problem here and your suggestion to set the Accessibility Text Size to 100% fixed the problem. It was at 125%

    Thanks…

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
