New Maestro C but cannot see the RX Preamp
Radio is a Flex 6400 w/SmartSDR+ 4.1.15
I bought a refurbished Maestro C from Flex Radio at the Yuma Hamfest and just set it up at home. My radios are remote and I use SmartLink. All "seems" to work fine after I entered my UID and PWD. The Maestro is up and I can control the remote 6400, so it looks good. BUT …
I cannot access the RX Preamp or other functions.
Per "CoPilot", suggests that I am in SmartControl mode and not GUI mode.
I must be missing something simple here and it's not that evident (yes, I downloaded the Maestro manual but I didn't see anything related to this. The Quick Start Guide doesn't help.
This should not require an engineering degree (which I have LOL) to figure out, but the documentation is silent and this is fruatrating. CoPilot helps a lot BUT I still haven't resolved the issue. It works … but several items are unavailable
What am I missing???
Update: CoPilot says that the Maestro is NOT running the "SmartSDR for Maestro" but what's in the firmware. However, Maestro says that it's running 4.1.15, like the radio. CoPilot suggests that the 4.1.15 in the Maestro might be corrupted and id stuck in "shell mode".
This is getting ridiculous so I stopped asking CoPilot to help LOL. I am hoping that someone here can help me out :-)

UPDATE: CoPilot was wrong as I found the RX Preamp setting under ANT1 (or ANT2). It's now a slider. I also determined that the 4.1.5.xxxxxx that the Maestro shows is not the same as 4.1.15 of SmartSDR
So … I hope I got it right. By the way, then RX Preamp explanation is way down on page 109 of the "Maestro manual for v 3.7.3". I was expecting it sooner (sigh)

There's NO released version 4.1.15 of SmartSDR at least from what I have ever seen on the Windows platform or on the FlexRadio.com web site, so you may want to look again, there has only been 4.1.3 and 4.1.5 released to the public so far for version 4 SmartSDR, and the Maestro and/or Windows SmartSDR would tell you if it had a different version installed on the Radio and require you to Upgrade / Downgrade before it would run.

Bret - You are right as I was looking 4.1.5 as 4.15 … I should know better LOL
After a week, I love this Maestro. I haven't used SmartLink since I set it up. I received the battery and an FHM-3 mic from DX Engineering yesterday and the battery in the Maestro and fully charged. I had borrowed a mic from a couple of Flex ML-9600X radios we have in the lab. I brought the MIC back when I received the one from DX Engineering. I had forgotten to buy the MIC and Battery while in Yuma.
