Flex 8400 with Spe 1.5k Amp communication problem

flex 8400/Maestro connected to spe 1.5k taurus via a Dan Tassel Cat cable. Tunes fine on 10m 15m 20m and 30m. Wont tune on 17m or 40m. Using same 15-20w drive power on all bands. Get an error, " No input power, tuning halted." Using a zero five vertical which has worked fine on these bands without the amp. SWR on bands that will tune is 1.2 . flex atu is bypassed. Any ideas? Thanks Mark K1MWT

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
