SDR Monitor website

K9DUR's website for donations is gone. I know he passed away a while back. I use his SDR monitor program and wanted to check if his website was active. I clicked on the Donate button in the app and got a lot of messed up stuff on screen. Then when I closed the Edge browser I started getting continuous pop-ups telling me my computer was infected with a virus and a Trojan. I didn't click on any of the " fix now" buttons. Instead, I snapped a photo of the pop-ups with my Android phone and used Google Lens to see if I could get some information. It immediately found a website showing the exact same screen and a how to from Google AI to get rid of the pop-ups. I followed the instructions to get rid of the pop-ups in Windows Edge and the pop-ups went away immediately. And they haven't returned. I also did a extended antivirus scan and nothing was detected.

It's unfortunate that K9DUR's donation system and possibly his software website have been hijacked. I decided to Uninstaller his program to avoid the chance of me accidentally clicking the button again.
