smartlink issues

in SmartSDR for Windows

First time power to radio is asks for login. I assume thats as in the same as for the flexradio website? There is no internet to the radio yet. No instructions.

I want to use wifi until I can get cable strung around the edge of the house and a router in my shack. Hope to get working some before I get that all done.

AND…

turns out my laptop has wifi only, no ethernet port. HDMI, USB, but no LAN.

Will I be able to use this laptop? They make USB to Lan adapters but I hear they are cheezy.

    Ruarto, i had a laptop similar to the one you're describing... i do believe you may be highly disappointed in its performance... give it a try but be ready for a step up to a high end laptop or midgrade desktop at a minimum. DD

    So how do I do the smartlink setup when there is no internet, only wifi?

    I have a nice new laptop with newer everything and bigger andd more and you got it… so one of these days I will get all my software moved over to it. Thanks for the recommendation, it just prompts me to get with it a bit sooner !!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
