Just use the internal speaker to get started. Most computer speakers are USB,,which won’t work with the flex. Don’t make the orientation harder than it needs to be. Just hook-up the flex like the 7300 was and turn it on. Have the flex manual available and play with the radio. Much of it works much like the 7300. You can’t hurt it.

I wasnt done... so to continue: The manual shows I need a Amplified Speakers to do the setup. Can I make this work with the PC speaker? Or must I order them then wait. Im 70 miles from nearest Wallmart.0

They say 1/8" stereo audio plug. Stereo normally spec's 3.5mm which is not exactly 1/8"0

The 8600M has a built-in speaker ( front facing) that works. But, it's nothing to write home about. If you have powered speakers attached to your computer, you can use them running SmartSDR on your computer. Or, get a good set of powered speakers and connect them to the Line level audio output on the back of the radio. That way, if you are using the radio and not operating it from your computer, you will have better audio. I use a set of Boise Companion II powered speakers with my Flex radios. They aren't as susceptible to RFI like some inexpensive powered computer speakers like those that you can buy at Walmart. You may need to wrap the speaker leads through a couple of Toriods to help control RF getting into the audio amplifier of the speakers.
