APD & RF Sampler

in FLEX-8000 Signature Series

I'm curious. When using an RF sampler after ones Amplifier, which port on the Flex-8400M will it be connected to for APD?

    That feature hasn't been implemented yet.

    It was promised for the end of 2024 at the Dayton HC and several subsequent posts and videos that year. We're now into 2026 and the half implemented APD that has been released is still in beta. I sure hope they're focused on actually completing BOTH PARTS soon.

    Well I understood its not implemented yet, But was looking for which connector the 8400M will use to receive the RF sampler signal?

    I was expanding on Trucker's input.

    They've said it will use the radio's receive antenna BNCs. I've also heard it will be able to use the transverter BNCs. Perhaps there will be a selection option in the associated f/w update ? Hopefully they'll accommodate both A and B sides for SO2R since that's a foundational feature of Flex radios.

    There's supposed to be a switching box of some sort that will take both RX antennas (and/or transporter inputs ?) and inputs from the sampler (or PGXL direct sampling outputs) and switch between them for RX and TX. I haven't seen any more detailed discussion of the details than that so far.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
