Smartsdr not seeing Flexcontrol after reboot of windows 11 PC but does after Smartsdr recycle

Hello,

I've seen a number of similar issues being discussed but here's mine.

I normally shutdown everything at night, Flex8600 and windows 11 pc.

When I, usually the next day, I restart my PC and start my Flex-8600, 100% of the time my Flexcontrol doesn't function with SmartSDR v4.1.5. I then shutdown smartSDR and restart it, and all is well.

Even if I exercise the Flexcontrol before the first start of SmartSDR it doesnt work, but it always works after restarting SmartSDR.

Any Ideas as to what is going on? I suspect its a windows 11 driver thing, but being an oldtime mainframe systems guy I'm not sure. Its defined as com240. Its not a big deal shutting down and restarting but it seems odd to me? Note that Windows 11 can be up and running before the issue for hours and the problem occurs.

    Thats the first time ive heard of setting the comport at that high a number. Try deleting that and setting it at port 99. It will then be happier.

    OK I'll give it a try. I originally set it to 240 at the request of flex support.

    I tried your suggestion this morning, there was no change. I was thinking about deleting the drivers then reinstalling them. But its difficult locating the drivers.

    Maybe this weekend if all this bad weather hits the east coast I'll have the time to do something with the drivers.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
