Please update SSDR to recognize the ERC-Mini USB to RS232 interface rotor controller.

The ERC Mini DX USB cable is not recognized by my 8600M when attempting to setup passthrough so that I can have rotational control for the Yaesu G-800DXA. I checked with the manufacture of the ERC-Mini and he told me the USB interface is the latest version of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard.

Since the Yaesu G-800DXA is one of the most popular rotor controllers and the ERC Mini DX is a very cost-effective solution, would FLEX please make Passthrough work with the FT230X USB UART chip.

According to the manufacturer of the ERC-interfaces, they are designed to be used with USB-hosts on a Windows, Linux or a MacOS-machine, and this is why they use FT230X and it works as advertised on all these OS. The owner of the company informed me that the FT232RL has been obsolete for several years and that's why they replaced this chip in all their designs with the FT230X. This being the case, please consider making the 8000 series radios recognize USB UART's with FT230X chips.
